Activision and Beenox today released the latest trailer for the Amazing Spider-Man video game. This one focuses on something called “Web Rush,” and how it’ll come in handy zipping across New York and stickin’ it to the bad guys (so to speak).
The new game based on this summer’s Amazing Spider-Man movie has a major new game mechanic. Web Rush effectively works like bullet time for Spider-Man, slowing down time. But it’s about more than just performing cool take-downs. Web Rush also enhances Peter Parker’s spider-sense, presenting him with new and different options so he can make more tactical decisions about how to handle a given situation.
Now if only they’d release a trailer explaining the sneaker soles affixed to the new Spider-Man’s suit…
